The Goose Girl (Part 1) is a humorous 32-page comic loosely inspired by the German fairy tale Die Gänsemagd, exploring what the relationship of the two main characters might have been: a friendship and sisterhood developed over the journey, but marred by the return to the "real world" and the roles assigned to them by society.
